Esenkasteelhoeve is a green oasis next to Esen Castle, which is situated along the road from Diksmuide to Ieper, only a quarter of an hour walking from the railway station (1400 m) and the Great Market of Diksmuide.

The farm (surface 3 ha) forms a park area together with the castle park and the caretaker’s house: green, large and quiet. From Esenkasteelhoeve you have direct access to the castle territory with its walking paths and water garden.

The garden of the Esenkasteelhoeve has been laid out on ecological way, starting from the ideology “to live a life close to nature with respect for human beings, animals and plants”. With the same idea as background the farm has been restaurated by using nature-friendly construction materials such as clay, natural paints and trash chalk.

In the garden there are corners where you can retire in peace on each moment to enjoy the green neighbourhood, to dream, to read, to relax…
